Vintage Design
Coffee table designed and produced by Christian Krekels in Belgium in 1990. This organically shaped coffee table is a true piece of art and features a gold-colored brass table top and sculptural legs made of enameled black steel. The moon-shaped table top features an incredible etching reminiscent to a Japanese karesansui. The maker’s signature and date are etched in the top, covered by a metal sur-plus sculpture by Krekels. The exposed metal obtained a great patina over the years, some using marks as shown in the pictures.
