Vintage Design
A fantastic pair of lounge chairs designed by A. Dolleman, manufactured by Metz & Co in the Netherlands around 1950. The chairs have very appealing, minimalist design. Their thin black lacquered metal bases are nicely bent in to shape. The seat and back are made of thick brown saddle leather, matching perfectly with the frame and creating an impressive style with a beautiful sense of luxury to the chairs! An iconic set of mid-century Dutch design. The set remains in good condition with minor wear consistent with age and use preserving a beautiful Cognac color and warm patina.
