C R Ashbee. Made by The Guild of Handicrafts. An Arts and Crafts Copper chalice. The lid with semi-precious red stone to the wirework handle rising from a red enamel circular plaque. The bowl is attached to the stem with sinious wirework emulating from below the centre of the stem, with leaf decoration to the ends where they join the bowl. The central knop to the stem has copper bead decoration. The round bulbous base typical of the work of C R Ashbee. Originally silver plated.
