Vintage Design
This unusual seating furniture from Italy from the late 1960s is avant-garde in shape and colour. All the pieces, the seating furniture and the table, are only plugged into one another when dry with wooden dowels or held in shape with the leather straps of the linen undercover. Formally, the large side bolsters and backrests with the round transverse elements are reminiscent of a geometrically shaped plug-in system or modular system. Except for a few loss of color on the wooden parts, especially on the orange armchair, all parts are in good condition. The side panels are made of strong plywood, held in place by wooden dowels and connected by solid turned top and bottom crossbars.
Few signs of wear. We are offering this attractive table from the late 1960s from the estate of a Berlin design collector. Fratelli Reguitti have made similar pieces in color and shape, so we attribute the pieces to this Italian manufacturer.
