M H Baillie Scott. A Cuban Mahogany Dining Table possibly made by AWS Simpson and The Handicrafts, with panels of stylized plants to the heads of the square inverse tapered legs.
The design of this table is very pure to the Scottish Arts and Crafts Movement and a very accomplished design. It has butterfly joints underneath each corner adding an extra touch of quality.
Thought to be from the Liverpool College of Art.
I have three of these tables available one the same size as this one and a slightly smaller squarer version.
