A French-Aubusson inspired vintage hand-knotted Turkish rug made in the 1960s with a design of romantic cabbage roses decorating a field in stone color framed by a large, ornamental frame in brown featuring latticed quatrefoil motifs and dramatic cartouches spreading on it on four sides. The large beige border is filled with the same cabbage roses in the field.
The rug has medium wool pile on cotton foundation. It is in good condition with no issues, professionally cleaned, sturdy and suitable for areas with high foot traffic in both residential and commercial interiors. Measures: 4 x 6.8 ft.
