An unbelievable early 20th century Persian Bakshaish rug with an incredibly all-over trellis and floral pattern woven in crimson, pink, green, gold and dark indigo on a natural undyed wool background. The trellis floats in a large, wide crimson striped diamond, on a the same floral trellis field, but with a a light indigo background. The border is wide with a large-scale floral and vine patterned stripe with a crimson background, flanked by four matching petite floral patterned stripes.
