Brown Leather & Burr Yew Wood Extending Writing Desk

We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning Burr yew wood writing table or desk with extending, gold leaf embossed brown leather top A good looking and well made piece, its based on a design for a Regency sofa table however this has the twin drawers and double stretcher. The idea being you could extend the originally designed table by pulling the leaf over the arm of a sofa to eat your dinner at. This is a full sized desk based on that model The leather top is heritage brown and it has gold leaf embossing around the edges, it has a wonderful look and feel and is very comfortable to work at. The back side of the desk has five faux drawers to match the five working drawers on the other side Condition wise we have deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished it, there may be some age and use related patina marks here and there but mostly they are in fine order throughout Dimensions Height:- 75cm, under table legroom height 60.5cm Width:- 138cm extending to 193cm Depth:- 68cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point.
