Late 19th Century Baltic Chests or Commodes Tortoise Shell Finish
A pair of simply stunning custom made commodes, chests or nightstands Baltic. The finely chased bronze mounts depicting rams heads atop flowing vines and shell. The bronze key holes hidden by swinging lions head covers in bronze round frames. The tapering bronze reeded legs supporting a case of three drawers, side and top all in a spectacular tortoise shell finish. The pine interiors having tight dovetail and wonderful grain. There is simply too much to mention in this one of a kind pair of very well made custom commodes.
