19th Century Anglo American Wall Clock With Inlay by Jerome & Co

This listing is for an antique wall clock.

This clock was made by Jerome & Co in the Anglo American style.

“Anglo American” when referring to clocks refers to American companies that imported high quality cases from England and put American clock movements inside of them.

This one is by Jerome & Co and utilizes a New Haven movement. To avoid confusion, we’ll explain why this is so. Jerome & Co became the New Haven Clock Co. Additionally, the original manufacturer’s label (located inside the case) indicates that this is the original movement as it states that this clock movement should bear the “New Haven” stamp on it.

The casing is quite gorgeous with intricate inlay.

The dial is still bright and visible. It does appear to have been touched up over the years

The movement is an 8 day time and bell strike.

The movement was last serviced in 2019. It ran when recently tested.

The clock is in overall good condition
