Extraordinary pair of Biedermeier nut wood cabinets in outstanding quality from the early 19th Century Biedermeier in Austria around 1830. These rare cabinets impress with a straight timeless shape and unique veneer work. Both front doors were veneered with fine burr walnut and show an absolute beautiful mirrored grain. To avoid warping they have been additionally countermove-veneered on the inside with maple, a sign of high-quality furniture. Slightly cambered, marvelous worked pilaster strips convince with their outstanding style. An exceptional pair of compact-sized Biedermeier cabinets that were especially made for the children´s room of a manorial Vienesse household. Offering great space, the interiors of the cabinets will be customized to your needs. You can choose between three compartments/ cabinet or you can also mix it, for example one shelf combined with a clothing rail, just let us know what you prefer. A traditional hand polished shellac finish reinforce the incredible look of the veneer. Lovely brass applications finalize the fantastic look of these two eye-catching 19th century cabinets. Both cabinets can be locked with the still original locks. Antique Biedermeier cabinets in this size and particularly a pair are really special and hard to find nowadays.
