Vintage Design
A wonderful piece from the Birch – series with distinctive laced legs. Designed by Cees Braakman for Pastoe in the early 1950s. Bookcase with 2 shelves and a drop-down desktop with a beautiful interior for letters and office papers. Cees Braakman was one of the most influential designers in the Netherlands. His forward-thinking designs paved the way for success for Pastoe, and he remained head of the design department until 1978.
