Vintage Design
A very attractive and high quality mahogany washstand from the Edwardian period. The pale green colour is unusual and the central tiles have a strong Robert Adam influence. The two door base has satinwood and ebony crossbanding to the panels and simple ball catches to close. Aside from the slightly later handles this piece is absolutely original, right down to it’s castors. The pink variegated marble top has no cracks or chips and is typical of better quality washstands. The tiles have traces of glaze cracking.
