Gordon Russell Lygon Works Design No. 174. A rare Arts and Crafts Cotswold School patinated brass bowl with chased decoration to the rim and three tightly scrolled forged feet that are riveted to the bowl. The design, No. 174, dates to 1924 and is illustrated in the catalogue of metalwork held by the Gordon Russell Museum. This design was made in two sizes and it is one of the most stylish designs that Russell produced.
