Italian Tall Display Cabinet, Early 19th Century

An Italian glass and painted wood display cabinet from the early 19th century. This tall cabinet from Italy has been fitted with a pair of upper glass doors and a pair of lower single panel enclosed doors directly below, and is raised upon bracket style feet. This piece features a bonnet type pediment with carved adornment at top center and nicely molded cornice. The sides are canted with vertical display windows at top and decorative panels at bottom case. This cabinet breaks down into two pieces, allowing for easier transport and installation. The general color tone is a pale green/grey with taupe. This early 19th century cabinet from Italy will make a beautiful decorative piece for displaying wares and collectibles, with great hidden storage beneath.
