Vintage Design
Willy Sigh’s model 180 ‘Tree Leg’ dining table for his company, H. Sigh & Søn. It dates prior to 1968 when it was presented in the Børge Søndergaard catalog, but probably not much before. This table is almost universally misattributed to Helge Vestergaard Jensen for Søren Horn or Peder Pedersen.
The table measures 190 cm Lenght x 100 cm Depth when closed, and it can be extended to 240 cm Lenght x 100 cm Depth fully open. There is an extra leaf inside the table that flips to extend it.
Seats 10 pax confortably when fully open and 8 pax without the extension leaf.
It´s been professionally restored and re-laquered so it´s in very good condition.
The last two pictures are from Børge Søndergaard 1960s catalogs showing the table.
